Are you in the Word of God every day? It is crucial to your walk with the Lord. Every day He speaks to us and releases fresh manna and a fresh wind over our lives.
The Word of God will release the wind of God which will put wind in your sails. The wind will carry you to your destination. Like a sailboat. Sailboats cannot move when there is no wind.
Wind represents movement and forward progress.
The wind of God is the breath of God. Jesus breathed on the disciples. God breathed into Adam the breath of life.
And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.” John 20:22
The Word of God is a Treasure
I rejoice at Your word, As one who finds great treasure.” Psalm 119:162 (NKJV)
The heart is also a treasure from which words come.
We bring forth the word when we speak.
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. ” Matthew 12:35
From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Get ready for the treasure of the word to connect with the treasure of the wind.
Heaven is also a treasury. God sends the Word from His treasury in heaven. We ask God to open His treasury and send His Word. God opens the windows of heaven and releases blessings from His treasury. God opens His good treasure (Deut. 28:12)
Lightning and hail, snow and fog; Stormy wind fulfilling his orders.” Psalm 148:8 (AMP)
- The wind brings in the new.
- The wind comes with a new season.
- The wind causes the scenery to change.
- The wind follows God’s orders.
- The wind can bring things into your life.
- The wind can blow things out of your life.
Prophecy often releases the winds to do this.
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire.” Psalm 104:4
The Passion Translation says, “You make your messengers into winds of the Spirit and all your ministers become flames of fire.”
Doug Addison states, “There is a massive wind of change that is finally coming. This spiritual climate shift is happening in order to blow away the things in our lives that have held us back. It will remove things we have battled with in the past. As long as we are in the place that God has called us to, we will be safe. God is blowing away debris and preparing us now for a dramatic change.”
Lance Wallnau states, “Imagine that the winds are ministering spirits sent forth to the heirs of salvation. Imagine that these winds are spirits sent to accomplish the words spoken. Imagine that these winds are coming from the breath of God and seeking to join His words from your mouth. God’s words from your mouth enter the atmosphere and mingle with the wind to be sped off on their ordained mighty purpose.”
God controls the storm.
He raises up the stormy wind. The stormy wind fulfills His Word (Ps. 148:8). This is another example of the wind and the Word. When the Word is released, the wind comes to fulfill it. The storm also ceases at His Word. Tornadoes, cyclones, and hurricanes are some of the most powerful displays of the wind. Men marvel at the impact of these storms, and the power and force generated by them. If we crunch the numbers for an average hurricane (1.5 cm/day of rain, circle radius of 665 km), we get a gigantic amount of energy equivalent to about 200 times the total electrical generating capacity on the planet!
Wow! God is in control of this awesome power! Storms represent the power of a God, His voice, and His Word.
Today I decree that the WORD of the Lord and the WIND of God will melt the ice and any winter season of your life. Let the WORD and the WIND come together in your life. God’s WORD be released in your life and the WINDS of God be released in your favor. The water of His presence will flow over you. The Lord will open His treasury and release the WINDS over your life to refresh you. Breathe in the freshness of the Spirit. Receive the FULL strength of the WIND of Lord in your life.
