Live in His Strength

Live in His Strength 1

Welcome to Impact University.

We have all been in a season at some point that seems like it will never end. I’ve learned that those are the seasons that God cause us to fully rely on God’s strength.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Phil 4:13

God puts you through a process of refinement. God may be purging you and developing your character.

We all go through a this process at some time. In this process God separates us from others for a season. It is not fun, but it is necessary for our growth and development as believers.

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”  Romans 5:3-5

You have to respond to the dealings of God in your own life before you can effectively deal with the problems in the lives of others.

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Sometimes, you will feel as if you are in a furnace. You may find yourself saying, “God, why are You dealing so strongly with me? Why don’t You deal with everyone else like this?” Don’t give up! Go through the process.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

There is a purpose to the process.

You will overcome, you will breakthrough, you will have the victory!

Through this victory, you will have the ability to articulate what others are feeling and have no words for. This victory will give you great prophetic insight, authority, courage and strength.

Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!” Psalm 31:24

You have a divine assignment to lead others in breakthrough in this area.

I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service,” 1 Timothy 1:12

Prophets are the most sensitive of the fivefold ministry. God has configured prophets to have spiritual sensitivity, a unique sensitivity to the spirit realm. Prophets have to learn how to handle this increased sensitivity. They tend to “pick up things” without trying.

Your sensitivity is related to being extremely intuitive, highly aware, and keenly observant.

  • Prophets move in the Spirit
  • Prophets are carried away in the Spirit
  • Pray in the Spirit
  • Sing in the Spirit
  • Walk in the Spirit
  • Dance in the Spirit
  • Write in the spirit

Often times God will give you a message and you will begin to write about the silence and the pain that others are not able to express.  God gives you the articulations for the season we find ourselves in. This is your mandate in the earth. Some of you will write the book or books for such a time as this!

Others will release the word of the Lord with great authority and confidence. The Holy Spirit will fill you with a supernatural boldness.  This boldness will be like a fire in your bones, you will not be able to contain the word of the Lord.  This is the boldness of Peter in Acts 2.

Everyone will respond in a unique way.

Take a moment to consider what you have been through in this past season.

  • How has the Lord delivered you?
  • What breakthroughs have you had?
  • Have you been healed?
  • What has God restored?
  • How has He used you?

We serve a mighty God!  He has been present in every situation.  He has led you and been with you every step of the way in your journey.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

Whatever the trouble–He has been your strength.

Whatever the battle– He has been your victory.

Whatever the sickness–He has been your healer.

Whatever the storm– He has been your peace.

Today I want to encourage to receive and release this gift of the process.

Get yourself ready and equipped to be the messenger God created you to be.  Don’t despise the process!  OPEN YOUR MOUTH!  WRITE THE BOOKS!  Don’t waste any of the victories you have received.  You are His message and you are His messenger.
