There are so many benefits to living in the Glory of God.
- Glory heals.
- Glory restores.
- Glory is beauty.
David desired to dwell in the house of the Lord, to behold His beauty.
The house of the Lord should be filled with God’s glory and beauty.
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. “
Psalm 27:4
The Azusa Street Revival was known for the glory of God. It was reported that a thick glory cloud would show up in the meetings and the small children would run in and out of the cloud, playing in the glory! It was a tangible manifestation of Heaven on Earth.
There were dramatic miracles during the sweeping move of God at Azusa. One of my favorite miracle stories is that of a man who had a missing arm. He had lost his arm in a machinery accident. During one of the meetings, God’s glory came on him and he received a new arm, instantly!
Healing happens in the glory!
When the children of Israel came out of the bondage of Egypt, they were led out by the glory cloud and the pillar of fire. Not only was there a tangible demonstration of God’s glory in the leading, but also there was healing power upon the lives of the people.
there was not one feeble He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and person among their tribes. “
Psalm 105:37
They came out of slavery loaded down with the blessing of God and physically strong.
In the glory, their bodies were made strong!
- Miracles take place in the glory.
- The glory realm is the miracle realm.
- Your sick body will be healed in the glory.
- Crippling diseases can disappear in the glory.
- Arthritis can be healed in the glory.
- Natural things are swallowed up by the dimension of glory.
Stretch your faith to live in the realm of God’s glory!
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. “
Matthew 6:28-29
The lilies are symbols of God’s glory and beauty. Flowers are known for their beauty and fragrance and are brought to the sick and given at funerals because of their healing affect upon those who are grieving. We need God’s beauty in our lives.
And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. “
Exodus 28:2
The holy garments made for Aaron were for glory and beauty. Here we see glory and beauty are connected, they both attract. The nations are attracted to glory. Kings and influential people are attracted to glory.
Many came to visit Solomon for his wisdom and for the glory of his kingdom.
The glory will attract the right people to you.
They will come to you with blessings.
God desires to manifest His glory.
- The glory removes mourning, sadness, and defeat.
- The glory brings beauty for ashes.
- The glory removes shame and dishonor.
- The glory causes you to shine.
I am convinced that many believers don’t believe enough for the glory. We need to stir our faith in this area. God wants us to experience His glory.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. “
Psalm 50:2
God shines out of Zion. His beauty is seen in Zion. Glory is His brilliance, majesty, beauty, and perfection.
Can you imagine what happens in your life when you encounter this?
God is challenging us to believe for greater things. He wants to invade our lives with His glory. He wants to invade our cities with His glory. He wants to display His power in our midst. He wants us to speak and testify of His mighty acts.
The more we hear about the glory, the more faith we will have to receive it and to see it.
We need to preach on the glory. We need to teach on the glory. We need to sing about the glory. We need to prophesy about the glory. We need to live in the glory!
