In Due Time

Promotion is one of the gifts that God gives to His children.

A hard heart and a religious spirit will not agree with promotion! It will mock people who claim favor and decree promotion. Yet, when you study the Scriptures, it is so clear that whenever people are living surrendered to God’s will and plan, His promotion is breaking forth like a tidal wave.

The Scriptures are filled with individuals God promoted. God made Joseph a ruler in Egypt.

God promoted Him in the due time.

Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.

The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.”

Psalm 105:18-20

And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck.”

Genesis 41:42

Joseph went from the pit, to the prison, to the palace. When his due time came, he was released from prison and promoted to the position of prime minister. The pit and the prison were very humbling experiences for Joseph. He went through a season of hurt and isolation before he was promoted.  Joseph was forgotten by the chief butler, but his promotion was not dependent upon man

Joseph remained in prison for two more years and later, after Pharaoh’s dream, the butler. remembered him. God did not forget Joseph, even though the chief butler did.

The enemy may be telling you that promotion will never come. You must bind up his lying tongue and refuse to listen to him. Refuse to give in to him. Refuse to be discouraged.

God knows where you are. He knows every detail of your life. 

All that you have been through and He has the time for your promotion in His hands. 

• He knows how to cause things to work in your favor.
• Stand firm — Keep standing upon the Word of God.
• Keep obeying God.
• Keep worshipping the Lord and bowing before Him.

There are things that God has declared over your life that have already been set in motion in the realm of the spirit. You have to be patient and wait upon the Lord. He is working even now behind the scenes and preparing you. He has the ability to launch you forth suddenly, like a rocket! He has the ability to cause the right person to notice you. He has the ability to cause a contract to come your way. He has the ability to drop an idea in your mind that brings a financial windfall. Stay in the glory.

Stay in the place of surrender.

Daniel was promoted in the due time. He was a captive in Babylon, yet was promoted in the place of his captivity. Daniel’s environment could not stop his promotion.

Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.”

Daniel 2:48

Daniel exemplified continued humility and dependence upon God. His dependence opened major doors of promotion. He was supernaturally accelerated above others! This is how God’s hand works in the life of a surrendered person.

Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

Daniel 5:29

Mordecai was promoted in due time.

Haman was brought down, and Mordecai was exalted. Mordecai was promoted over his enemy. And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And

Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.”

Esther 8:2

There are enemies trying to lie about you. They are doing their best to take you down, but the glory of God will lift you up. Don’t leave the glory to fight the lies. Just stay in the glory. Stay in the secret place. Stay in the surrender, and God’s swift hand of justice will move on your behalf.

Get ready for your promotion.  God has it all worked out!
