Imagine if a wealthy relative left you a huge inheritance. Would you be timid? Would you be fearful? I believe that you would thankfully take possession of what was rightfully yours.
This is the level of faith that you should walk in as a child of God. You should be unafraid and unashamed to live in your inheritance.
Expect the increase. Expect the favor. Expect the breakthrough.
The Lord has given it to you. Don’t be intimidated or fearful. Take what belongs to you.
Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.”
Psalm 37:34
Quite simply God truly desires for you to understand and live in the fullness of His plans for your life.
There is no place of rest like the appointed place. There is no place of abundance like right in the midst of the will of God. This is what so much of the fight is over! Hell is opposing your covenant identity and rights as a child of God. Hell is determined to stop you and take you out!
How will hell try to take you out?
By discouraging you. By deceiving you. By wearying you.
- There is a place of refreshing.
- There is a place of peace.
- There is a place of abundance.
I learned a long time ago that there is nowhere greater than in the midst of God’s ordained place for me.
You can be blessed and you can live a blessed life, naturally and spiritually.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”
Matthew 5:5
The meek shall inherit the earth. If you walk in humility and surrender there is a promise of an inheritance for you.
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”
Psalm 37:11
We can inherit the Earth through our meekness and connection to Christ. We should have an expectation of inheritance.
What does that mean? It means that we should expect harvest and dominion. Too many believers operate at a level far beneath their promises. They do not stand upon the Word of God and declare what Heaven says. Instead, they stand outside of the promise distressed and confused. This is not the will of God. This is not the portion for believers. There is a portion for you. The word portion means, an individual’s part or share of something, a share received by gift or inheritance, an individual’s lot, fate, or fortune, one’s share of good and evil, an often limited part of a whole.
My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Psalm 73:26
The Lord is your portion!
He is the one that lovingly leads you into the Good Land. He is the one that has provided your inheritance. He is the one that gave you access. It is by His blood that your redemption was paid for.
When hell tries to deliver you a rotten package, you must mark it return to sender!
These packages include lying symptoms in your body, accusations against your mind, and evil reports and decrees against you. Hell is looking for you to buy into the lie. It wants you to live beneath your birthright as a believer. You must rise up in faith and boldly declare, “This is not my portion! This is not the Good Land!
This is not what my Jesus paid for. Go back to hell where you came from. I do not receive you and I won’t accept your lies.”
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”
Romans 8:17
The Earth is the Lord’s. Jesus takes it for His possession and so we also can take it for our possession. He took the dominion and authority from the enemy and restored it to us. We have a covenant right to believe God for the miracles, the breakthrough, and to inherit the land.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”
Psalm 2:8
The righteous are exalted and promoted to inherit the land. The Good Land is our inheritance, the Earth is ours.
