The Lord delights in giving you good things. He wants to pour out blessings over you.
The Father will release blessings and abundance over you. He delights in releasing blessings over His children.
If God were to ask you, “What do you want me to do for you?” What would you say?
Jesus asked two blind men this question.
As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked. “Lord,” they answered, “We want our sight.” Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.”
Matthew 20:29-34
These two blind men received the miracle of sight.
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”
Matthew 7:8-11
Your Heavenly Father delights in giving you good things.
- He desires to give you good things even more than you desire to give your children good things.
- The Father will not give you bad things.
- The Father will not give you a stone if you ask for bread.
- He will not give you a serpent if you ask for a fish.
- He enjoys seeing you happy and blessed.
- He enjoys seeing you enjoying his favor and blessing.
The Father delights in blessing you.
God takes pleasure in your prosperity. (Psalm 35: 27)
Jethro rejoiced over all the good things the Lord had done to Israel, in that He had rescued them from the hand of the Egyptians.”
Exodus 18:9 (Amplified)
Our God is abundant in goodness. He gives us good things in abundance. Renew your mind to this truth. Have no doubt about God’s desire to give enough good things. Ask for good things. Receive good things. You will not be the one who says, “good things never happen to me,” or “good things never come my way.”
And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the Lord our God doth give us.”
Deuteronomy 1:25
There are good things in the Good Land. God promised to bring his people into a Good Land full of good things.
And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;”
Deuteronomy 6:11
God promised to them houses filled with good things. He promised them good water sources, and good wine and oil.
For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills”
Deuteronomy 8:7
We should rejoice in the good things God gives us. God wants you to enjoy good things.
And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the Lord thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.”
Deuteronomy 26:11
Don’t limit God.
He will make you plenteous in goods. In other words, enjoy plenty of good things from the Father.
- Good things come from God’s good treasure.
- God has good things stored in heaven for you.
- He will open his treasure and release these good things for you.
- God enjoys giving His children good things.
- God rejoices over you for God.
- God does not fail in his promise of Good things.
- God will satisfy you with good things. The Amplified version says he will satisfy your years with good things.
- God will not withhold anything from them that walk uprightly.
- God gives us good things and gives us increase.
- God opens his hand and fills us with good things.
Our Father is generous! Get ready to receive all the good things He wants to release over your life. Good things, abundance, prosperity, and increase in every area of your life. He will do it!
